Job Description – Sales Manager - Used Vehicles

Vickar Mitsubishi is seeking a driven, experienced, and people‑focused Sales Manager - Used Vehicles to lead our high‑performing Sales Team. As part of the respected Vickar Automotive Group, you will be instrumental in driving dealership growth through exceptional customer experiences, strong team development, and effective leadership across both new and used vehicle operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading, coaching, and supporting the Sales Team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets for vehicle sales
  • Provide ongoing training in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement
  • Oversee used vehicle inventory, aging, merchandising, and ordering
  • Collaborate with dealership leadership on strategic planning, marketing, and promotional initiatives
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales forecasts and performance reports
  • Establish and maintain strong follow‑up, documentation, and customer relationship management systems
  • Monitor individual and team performance, offering coaching and guidance to support continuous improvement
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑energy workplace aligned with Vickar Automotive Group core values
  • Participate in community outreach efforts and represent the dealership at local events

Job Requirements:

  • Previous automotive sales experience required
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred
  • Proven ability to motivate, support, and develop a sales team
  • Strong customer‑centric mindset with dedication to delivering an outstanding buying experience
  • Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, collaborative dealership environment
  • Dependable and punctual, with availability for evenings, weekends, and opening/closing shifts
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship‑building skills
  • Valid Class 5F Manitoba driver’s licence with acceptable MPI driver abstract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mitsubishi brand experience or training considered a strong asset
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic
  • Ability to build long‑term customer relationships and repeat business
  • Experience with dealership CRM tools and sales processes
  • Customer service or retail experience an advantage
